A follow-up session was held on October 30th to continue a dialogue started on October 12th with employees who were members of the Consolidation Working Group, the Consolidation Action Team, Work Team Co-Leaders, Deans & Administrative Deans, Department Chairs, Unit Directors, and Faculty Organization Leadership.

I hope there are open forums regarding building on the Summerville campus, as this is a community. Rumors are already swirling in the wind.
Dr. Azziz recently met with the Summerville Neighborhood Association board of directors to request their assistance in seeking community input in the planning of future construction. This may not be necessary for several months, but community involvement will be an important part of the planning process.
Also, we are scheduling open forums throughout the remainder of the calendar year. Although forums may not be dedicated to particular issues, members of the community are encouraged to attend and discuss any items of interest or concern.
Every open forum I’ve seen advertised is during day. How about some in early evening for those is us who work but still want to know what’s going on?
